Description
Wood figure of a male saint, the standing figure wearing a cape over a garment, gathered with a belt; a book against his left hand, his right hand to his ear. Traces of polychromy and gilt; partially re-carved. Probably Spanish, 13th to 14th century. 23.5" H. Provenance: Removed from a private collection in Manhasset, NY.
