Flemish Renaissance wood group of the Deposition, the reclining corpus, dressed in a loose-fitting garment, being eased down by four male figures, that at the left genuflecting. Two figures behind looking forward, their hands raised to their eyes; another figure at the right. The head of Christ wanting; partially re-carved. Flemish, ca. 1500. 10.25" H. Provenance: Removed from a private collection in Manhasset, NY.
