The first edition in slip case published by Holt , Rinehart and Winston, New York, 1962 is signed by the author and numbered 303 of 1,500 copies.
Measures 10 inches.
Provenance: The estate of Morton and Estelle Sosland.
In Kansas City, the Sosland family name is synonymous with both giving, and the arts. Of their many contributions to the community, 'The Soslands gave one of the nation's finest private collections of American Indian art to the Nelson-Atkins' museum (nelson-atkins.org).
