Chinese Ming Dynasty Jiajing Red and Green Dragon Porcelain Bowl. The porcelain potted with a shallow body, slight deep, thick, flaring rim with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward the close mouth rim, raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in red base color which contrast against green fine color, depicted of imperial five claws dragon flying careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves. The glaze has smooth texture and moisturizing, glossy quality. Which attracting unceasingly admiration.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years JiaJing Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
