Chinese Qing Dynasty KangXi White and Alum Red Lotus Porcelain Wash Pot. Potted into wash pot shape, having thick, globular body heavy on mid, round flat mouth lip and raised on round foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against red fine color, depicted of lotus flowers blooms interspersed foliage and scrolling interlocking tendril. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years KangXi Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
