Charpentier & Co. Gilt and Patinated Bronze Mounted Mantel Clock, France, 19th century, a seated classical woman reading a book to one side of a foliate decorated clock case, all set on a raised base with scrolled foliage panel, inscribed to dial and impressed to works, overall lg. 29, ht. 19 in.
