Description
Two Chinese famille rose vases dating from the Republic period. One vase depicts a man and a child in a landscape scene with bats, and it has a 6-character mark on the bottom. The other, garlic head vase depicts a landscape scene with three figures, and it has a xian string pattern around its neck.
Dimensions are: the second, larger vase measures 9 inches tall X 5 inches wide, 22.9 cm X 12.7 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: The smaller vase has a hairline to the body. The larger vase has a chip and a glaze pop to the rim. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
