Description
A Chinese famille rose square vase dating from the Republic period. It comes with a wooden stand. Each side features a framed scene of one of the Sanxing gods with attendants. The scenes are set against a yellow lotus tracery ground. The neck, foot, and mouth of the vase are decorated with stylized leaf and ruyi bands.
Dimensions are: 19 inches tall X 5 1/2 inches wide, 48.3 cm X 14 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: The bottom has been drilled. There is a large glaze pop on the bottom rim and overpainting surrounding the drill hole. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
