A group of six Chinese famille rose vases dating from the 1950s or 1960s. The group consists of two pairs of taller vases and two small vases. All vases feature scenes of flowers. The larger vases have black bands of linear decoration around the necks and feet. One of the small vases has a chicken in its floral scene. Five of the vases have inscriptions on the body; one of them has one seal, and the other four have three seals each. The large vases have 6-character marks, while the small vases have 4-character marks.

Dimensions are: the larger vases measure 10 inches tall X 4 1/2 inches wide, 25.4 cm X 11.4 cm, while the small vases measure 3 3/4 inches tall X 1 3/4 inches wide, 9.5 cm X 4.4 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Provenance: From the private, premier collection of a gentleman in Cleveland, Ohio. The items in the collection were acquired starting in the 1970s from auction houses including Christie's, Sotheby's, and Bonhams, as well as from various private collections in the United States.
