William Hayes, colored engraving, c. 1794, signed, William Hayes (British, 1735-1802), "White Stork", copperplate engraving, from Rare and Curious Birds Accurately Drawn and Colored from Their Specimens in the Menagerie at Osterly Park, Bulmer & Co., London, 1794-99, Emily, Matilda and Anne Hayes, engravers & colorists, this example signed twice--once possibly in the plate lower left, and once in ink lower right, 9.5"h x 7.5"w (sight), 23.5"h x 20.25"w (frame)
