May, London, a late 18th century silver repousse pocket watch with polychrome enamel dial key wind and set full plate fusee movement with verge escapement, decorative balance bridge and regulator plate, and Tompion regulator in a sterling silver, open face pair case, the outer case decorated with repousse C scrolls, leaves and flowers, the back featuring a scene with two seated figures in a grotto, the inner case with London hallmark and date letter for the year 1782, roman numeral white enamel dial with arcaded chapter ring and central polychrome scene depicting a gentleman with his horse, a large building, and a sailing vessel, with fancy gilt hands, serial #10416, 50mm. CASE: Outer case with wear and tarnish; Pusher indented; Inner case with dents; Bow a bit loose; Pendant resoldered; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: Very minor enamel loss at edge, 10:00. HANDS: Minor tarnish. MOVEMENT PLATES: Fine scratches on plate; One regulator plate screw missing; Screws lacking blue; Some steel components with minor oxide; Specks of dirt.
