Lot 5 Daguerreotypes w/ Leather Cases,Gilt Frames 19th C. This is an attractive lot of 5 daguerreotype portraits set in ornate leather and gilt wood frames. They have beautiful metal clasps to hold them shut. The smallest one has beautiful mother of pearl inlay. They all have gilt borders and red velvet interiors.

Dimensions of the largest are 3.75 in h x 3.5 in w x .75 in d and the dimensions of the smallest are 2.25 in h x 2 in w x .5 in d. Condition is good/fair. Surface wear to cases. Wear to velvet inside. Some of the images have slight wear. The wooden case is missing its clasp. The portrait of the 2 children is in 2 pieces. Please call or email for a detailed condition report.
