Catalog Note:
Henry Maxwell Letcher was both a student and instructor at Howard University and later took graduate courses in ceramics at Ohio State University. During WWII, he was a transportation officer for the Tuskegee Airmen. After the war, he returned to the Washington DC area and established the Letcher Art Center, which operated through the mid 1960s.

Condition

Floral vase has two small glaze nicks at the rim. Wave vase has minor glaze inconsistencies. Both have fine overall crazing.
