Chinese Ming Dynasty WanLi Red & Green Dragon Motif Porcelain Large Vase. The porcelain potted in a traditional Gu beaker shape vase, having baluster shaped body, large, tall and thick, bulging belly on the mid, trumpet-shaped on the tall neck, raised with high round flaring foot base, like reverse bowl with splayed foot base and deep concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white color which contrast against red & green color, depicted of imperial five claws dragon flying careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves. The glaze has smooth texture and moisturizing, glossy quality. Which attracting unceasingly admiration.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed red script characters reign mark. Made in The Years WanLi Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
