Collectible antique Dresden Saxony porcelain figurine depicting a French Drum Major of the 2nd Battalion wearing the uniform of the Napoleonic wars. Finely modelled, neatly hand-painted, and highlighted with gilding. Signed in French to the base: "Tambour major du 2e bataillon." The maker's mark is a five-pronged crown with the letter N in gold, circa 1900.
