"The Girl and the Explorer" (1914) Large Vintage Movie Poster

A large, color movie poster, measuring 27.5" x 40.5", No place, [Ca. 1914]. A vintage poster for "The Girl and the Explorer", starring Tom Moore and Marguerite Courtot. Also directed and produced by Tom Moore. In this film, the daughter of a publisher (Courtot) wants to get an exclusive story from famous explorer, Carlton (Moore), who is evading reporters. She goes to his home and is hired as a housemaid. Upon meeting the two fall in love at first sight. The poster has been folded, with some creasing, wear, and small holes at the folds. Light toning and soiling, but bright colors. Linen-backed to support the poster. Please reference photographs for further condition.
