Included are letters written to the popular A.M. Holter hardware store in Helena. Dates 1880s - 1890s. Note: Elkhorn was established in 1872 and named after the nearby Elkhorn Mountains. It was a thriving silver mining town spearheaded in part by renown capitalist Anton Holter.
