C. 1920s. However, manuscripts from all towns date back to the 1880s with a letterhead from Glendale announcing the dissolution of a business partnership dated Nov 9, 1880. Besides Wisdom and Glendale, other communities included in this unique western Americana collection are Willis, Watson, Hecla, Amesville, Armstead, Beaverhead, Point of Rocks, and Dell. Note: Beaverhead County, located in the remote southwestern corner of MT, is the largest MT county by area. It was founded in 1865. The original county seat was the gold mining community of Bannack.
