Lot of approx. 200 billheads from various enterprises throughout Helena, MT from the late 19th century. Companies represented in this collection have names beginning with L or M. Examples include Chas. Lehman, Wholesale and Retail Dealer in Groceries, Wines, Liquors, Tobacco, Hardware, Grain and all Kinds of Farmers' Produce; and Montana Steam Cracker Company, Manufacturers of "Lockey's" Brand of Crackers and Hard Bread. Note: Helena, located in west central MT, is the state capital as well as the seat of Lewis and Clark County.
