I bought this one because it is truly a Mexican War Model-1842 H. Aston martial percussion pistol. Both the lock and barrel are clearly dated 1846. All markings are clear and legible. Steel is gun-metal gray with light areas of pitting. Brass is attractive with delicate patina. Stock VG. 100% original, 100% complete including captured ramrod, and mechanically perfect.

Materials, Packing, and UPS Shipping on this item is $25.00. Insurance is $1.50 per hundred. Signature required service $3.50 by US Mail and $6.50 by UPS. The insurance and signature service are optional, but there can be no insurance for theft or loss without the â€œsignature required” service.
