TOWLE AND OTHER STERLING SILVER SERVING UTENSILS, LOT OF SEVEN, comprising a "Dorothy Bradford" serving fork and a "Queen Elizabeth I" gravy ladle by Towle Silversmiths of Newburyport, MA, a "Carnation" soup/punch ladle by R. Wallace & Co. of Wallingford, CT, a "Chantilly" gravy ladle by Gorham Mfg. Co. of Providence, RI, a "Fairfax" preserve spoon by Durgin/Gorham Mfg. Co., a "Louis XV" butter knife by Whiting Mfg. Co., and a pair of asparagus tongs without maker's mark. Each marked for sterling fineness, most with maker's mark. Total weight: 19.455 ozt. Late 19th/20th century. 6 3/4" to 10 1/2" L.
Condition
Very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections including nicks, possibly one or a few minute dents, slight bending, and/or worn spots to decoration.
