English, 18th century
A tapered cylindrical teapot with a scrolled wood handle and hinged lid with ball finial, marked on the underside, probably Samuel Heydon, London, Yeoman 16 June 1715; with a cylindrical apothecary jar with acorn-finial, lid marked, and an hour glass shaped master salt.
Teapot, H. 5 1/2 in., jar, H. 8 5/8 in., master salt, H. 2 5/8 in.
Provenance: Van Buskirk Collection, all pieces so engraved inthe 1960's and acquired in 2009 by current owner, a private NYC collector.
