One Swatow plate crackle glazed cream colored with gray-blue square character mark in the center, Sanskrit type border, unglazed ring in center, and with floral decoration to underside, unglazed base, knife trimmed foot ring. The other a Swatow plate gray with gray-blue lattice and foliate decoration, unglazed center ring, the underside embellished with a suggestion of grasses, the base unglazed, the top of the foot ring angling steeply inward. Also included, two Ming bowls with underglaze blue decoration, and a Song white ware saucer with carved design to center, extremely white fine paste at unglazed base. Large plates approx. 10" diameter.
