Chinese Ming Dynasty JiaJing Wucai Carp Pond Motif Porcelain Lidded Jar. Potted with a vessel shape jar, globular belly, heavy on shoulder, short neck, round close mouth lip with dome lidded finial bud, and raised on flat wide round foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against wucai design color, depicted of swims fish through water plants, flowers, auspicious ornament and thrashing lishui waves. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, Made in The Years JiaJing Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
