Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue and white Dragon Porcelain Celestial Vase. Potted in celestial shape vase, thick and tall, globular lower body, straight cylindrical neck, flaring round mouth rim, raised on a short small round foot base with slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of imperial five claws dragon flying careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves. The glaze has smooth texture and moisturizing, glossy quality, which attracting unceasingly admiration.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
