TRIBAL: Two African masks, the first a Chikunza Fiber Mask, Lwena or Mbunda people, Angola, 20th C., bark cloth, pigment, helmet mask composed of stick internal structure covered with bark cloth, resin, and adorned with red and white pigment 10" h.; along with Igbo Nigerian mask, carved wood with pigmented areas of white, red, blue, and ochre, 23" h.; wear consistent with age and use, including some pigment loss, etc. [PROVENANCE: Davis Collection.]
