Description
ASSORTED METAL DOMESTIC ARTICLES, LOT OF FOUR, comprising a wrought-iron pad lock with correct key, hinged cover with a diamond ornament; a wrought-iron tool stamped "DOBSON", possibly for sand-casting work; a sheet-iron Minor's Patent folding travel candle lantern, retains original japanned finish and gold stenciling with makers name and "Jan 24th 1863", mica windows, retains a paper handwritten note in door pocket "Christmas Gift from Mrs. Bond to John N. Henry 1869"; and a ring of 11 mixed metals vintage keys in various sizes. Second half 19th/first half 20th century. Padlock 5 1/4" H.
