ASSORTED CAST-IRON DOMESTIC ARTICLES, LOT OF EIGHT, comprising five trivets, including two in a sad-iron form raised on three short legs, one example with rope pattern frame and interior with hearts, scrolls and embossed "NEW ENGLAND / BUTT CO. / PROV. R.I.", remaining example with stylized scroll ornamentation, three examples in a geometrical pattern including two examples made by Ober Manufacturing Co in a waffle pattern; two wall-mount match holders including one with oak and acorn decoration and a Standard Clark Hardware Co. example with six-point star within a circle, reverse with maker's name; and a wall ornament in the form of a horse shoe, top with "GOD BLESS OUR HOME", center with anchor, cross and heart. Fourth quarter 19th/first half 20th century. Various sizes.
