Milner mezzotint on paper after John Hoppner (British, 1758-1810) original oil painting on canvas, one of the most famous artist's portraits, Princess Sophia, circa 1785. Princess Sophia Matilda of the United Kingdom (1777–1848) was the twelfth child and fifth daughter of King George III and Queen Charlotte. Signed in pencil, lower right. Both framed. The original labels showing detailed information about the artworks on verso.
