Description
[OUTLAWS & LAWMEN]. YOUNGER, Henrietta (1857-1915). Autograph letter signed to Miss Louie. Stillwater, MN, 18 July 1889. 4 pages, 8vo, creasing, partial separation at folds repaired with tape.  A letter in which Younger relates that a picture was received and that she will give it to her brother personally rather than leave it at his house because his wife probably won't understand. The recipient, Miss Louie, apparently is an actress, but the circumstances surrounding this meeting are unclear.Henrietta (Retta, Bettie) was the youngest of the Younger children (1857-1915). She was devoted to her brothers, and after Bob contracted Tuberculosis in prison and died, she fought to have Cole and Jim released.
