[EARLY PHOTOGRAPHY - PORTRAITURE]. A group of 11 framed portraits featuring male and female subjects highlighted by full plate tintype by Jacobs of New Orleans, including:  Albumen portrait of an Oddfellows member identified as Jacob Cooksey. N.p.: n.p., [ca 1850s]. 5 1/2 x 7 1/2 in. (sight), matted and framed to 13 1/4 x 15 1/4 in. Paper label framed with image features typeset identification of subject along with his initiation date (13 February 1851) and duration of service as Noble Grand (January through July 1853). -- Albumen portrait of an older Oddfellows member identified as William Downs. N.p.: n.p., [ca 1860s]. 5 1/2 x 7 1/2 in. (sight), matted and framed to 13 1/4 x 15 1/4 in. Paper label framed with image features typeset identification of subject along with his initiation date (17 December 1863). -- Full plate tintype portrait of a middle-aged man with full, curly beard. New Orleans: E. Jacobs, n.d. 5 7/8 x 8 in. (sight), matted and framed to 13 x 15 in. -- Hand-colored possible ambrotype portrait of a young man with goatee. New Orleans: Jac. Laufer, n.d. 6 x 8 in. (sight), matted and framed to 9 3/4 x 11 3/4 in. -- Albumen portrait of a man with a prominent goatee and interesting neck accessory. Bangor, ME: M.G. Trask, n.d. 5 x 7 in.
