American LaFrance Wooden Fireman Ladder. This is a wooden fireman's ladder manufactured by American LaFrance. It has nine rungs, three of which have a metal brace underneath. It has metal braces at the feet and at the top, where there are also two metal hooks. On the side are the carved words "American LaFrance," as well as the number 11. While this ladder would of course still be useful for tasks around the home, such as house painting, it could also probably be repurposed for use as a plant stand or bookshelf.
