Group of Four (4) matted & framed under glass chromolithograph prints from Frederick Cozzen's (American 1846 - 1928) Old Naval Prints published in 1892 - 1893 by Armstrong & Co. LithographersCompany, Hartford, CT. Copyright 1893 published by American Publishing Company. Includes plate 18 in the White Series The Cinncinnati Terror, and the Indiana. All 4 prints framed measure 11 1/2 by 15 1/2 inches with print window 7 7/8 x 12 inches.Frederick S. Cozzen, born on Staten Island in 1846, is one of Americas best known watercolor marine Artists & began his career is an illustrator for Harper's Weekly, the Daily Graphic, & Leslie's Magazine. He produced a series of Chromolithographs in 1893 - 1894 which showcased all of the vessels in various places & combinations, It is called the White Series because most of the ship hulls are white. There are 23 prints in the complete series. ExcellentCondition.
