Beginning in the 1740's, Capa-Di-Monte became a household name for porcelain products as they began production in Naples, Italy by special request of King Charles III of Bourbon. He wanted a royal porcelain studio on the grounds of the palace and it was called Reggia di Capodimonte. This one in particular is a modern production by the company and represents an English quartet of two males and two females on violins and pianos. Brilliant colors across the cermaic and highly detailed. Numbered 230.
