Benjamin Disraeli ALS Re: A Missed Letter Due to Travel
2pp, measuring 4.5" x 7", Grosvenor Gate, London, dated January 29, 1862. Written on black bordered mourning stationery. Signed "B. Disraeli" and addressed to I. Potts Esq., MP. Disraeli apologizes for a late reply to a missed letter, in full: "I regret, that from my various movements, your letter of the 31st Ulto: has not received a reply. I conclude you have, ere this, forwarded the address, as is customary, to the Secretary of State. Believe me, dear Sir, very faithfully yours, B. Disraeli." With flattened mail folds and toning throughout. The lower right corner has been clipped. Mounting residue at the top edge on verso. Boldly signed.
