Warhol started his career as a commercial designer. In the mid 1950's the young artist designed a series of manila folders as promotional gifts for his patron Vanity Fair magazine. A printed text box on the verso side of the folder states:
'This desk folder was designed for Vanity Fair by Andy Warhol, the celebrated young artist whose paintings hang in more and more galleries, contemporary museums and private collections. (For a colorful pair of pictures for your own wall, cut the folder in two and frame each half.) HAPPY FLYAWAY DAYS '

Condition
Very minor toning along far edges of folder, the overall sheet has a score down middle as issued, but that has not been folded yet, also sheet is nice and flat, ink colors are vibrant, minor creasing at top left corner, tab of folder has a bit more toning than the rest of sheet, verso side is clean and has text panel as noted in lot on verso.
