Description
A Chinese blue and white, diamond-shaped porcelain Hu vase with Chilong handles dating from the 19th century. It features lotus tracery at the top and as the ground of the body with four scenes of flowers and a wave motif at its foot. There is a 6-character mark on the bottom.
Dimensions are: 9 3/4 inches tall X 7 inches wide, 24.8 cm X 17.8 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: There is a repair to the rim, several hairlines, and a crack extending from the repair.
Provenance: From Mrs. Katrozo in Beverly Hills, California, collected by her parents and grandparents in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
