Description
A pair of Chinese turquoise-glazed bowls with 6-character marks of Daoguang and of the period. The bowls both have white interiors, and the exteriors feature lotus tracery with double happiness characters. One bowl is octagonal in shape, while the other has a four-lobed shape.
Dimensions are: 3 inches tall X 6 1/2 inches wide, 7.6 cm X 16.5 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: The lobed bowl is in good condition. The octagonal bowl has one hairline to the rim.
Provenance: From a private Boston, Massachusetts collection.
