Chinese Yuan Dynasty Blue & white Elder motif Porcelain Plum Vase. The porcelain shaped into a traditional Meiping form, large and tall, wide body on shoulder, short neck with narrow opening, slight flaring ring mouth rim, raised on round foot base, with slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine color, flori form medallion depicted of elders on the garden, surrounded with interlocking tendril and auspicious petals. There is not any overlap of the outlines, its well carved, clear, subtle, and distinct.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
