Description
This is an Iroquois beaded pouch collected in New York by Dr. Warren Thompson, dating to the 19th Century. The flat bag is made of trade cloth liner with old blue trade cloth around the top rim and artfully applied traditional Iroquois floral beaded designs. The pouch is a nice size and shows good condition and minimal bead loss. Provenance: From the ex-collection of Dale Harrison out of Ohio and Dr. Warren Thompson of New York state. Measures 7 inches long by 6 ½ inches wide.
