WWI & US MEXICAN BORDER SERVICE NAMED MEDALS LOT
WWI & US Mexican Border Service Named Medals Lot. Named to Major "Edwin St. Clair. Wren" (born 1882 - died 1939), an officer in the US Army Dental Corps. Wren served in WWI in the Aisne - Marne, Oise - Aisne, Champagne - Marne, Meuse - Argonne, Defensive sector. As well as in the US Mexican Border Service. He remained in the service after the end of WWI into the 1930's. Medals & Insignia include: Four full size medals: (1) Mexican border service, (1) WWI Victory with 5 clasps, (1) Pennsylvania National Guard for WWI (with ribbon bar) & (1) Mexican Border Service. All four are accompanied by their respective mini-medals. One Pershing Army of Occupation of Germany Medal. Named Mexican Border Service 1917-1918 Medal named to recipient "1st Lt. E.St.C. Wren.D.C. N.G.U.S P.A" presented by the town of Reading, PA. Uniform button and "34 S" marked collar disc. All are in a Riker mount. Documents include: Various modern photocopied and printed documents that detail Wren's service. Passenger's list with Wren's name, on the USS Grant Arriving in San Francisco from Chingwangtao, China. dated 1931.
