Partial Service of Woodmere's James Buchanan White House China

20th century, New Castle, Pennsylvania, based on Buchanan's Paris porcelain, each piece marked, some dessert plates documenting on the back that they are copies of White House china, the set including:
twenty-two dinner plates, dia. 10-1/2";
eleven dessert plates, dia. 7-1/2";
eight cups, h. 3-1/4"; and
five saucers, dia. 6".

On the cups, one has a chip to its rim and a hairline crack; another has a chip to its foot rim; and a third has a "flea-bite" chips to its rim. On the salad plates, one has a "flea-bite" to its foot rim. On the dinner plates, there is a chip to the underside of one rim; another has some abrading (roughness) and accretions to its foot rim. Some of the plates have tiny cutlery marks/scratches to wells and gilding.
