Description
Ancient Near East, Holyland, ca. 1st millennium BCE. A lovely pottery jar presenting a bulbous body, a slanted shoulder, and a narrow, slightly flared rim, all sitting upon a flat, circular base. Enveloped in a hued of creamy beige, the elegant vessel exhibits liberal remains of incised decoration along it interior and exterior walls. A fine example from the ancient Holyland! Size: 7.875" in diameter x 6.625" H (20 cm x 16.8 cm)
