US Navy Mark V Diving Helmets Metal Chest and Air Hose

Item Details

Description

Fantastic original WWII era metal chest for transportation of the US Navy Mark V diving helmet. This chest was made by the Waterloo Register Company and retains its original brass tag which says U.S. Navy Standard Chest For Mark V, Mod. 1 Diving Helmets. Two helmets would have originally been in this chest. The chest was likely sold as surplus and then used by Under Sea Salvage Inc, who stenciled their name on the outside. Chest is also accompanied by a length of air hose, approximately 50 feet in length. Due to size and weight please inquire about shipping costs to your location.
