Description
Nice example of a air control valve. This piece of equipment was used in conjunction with the US Navy Mark V diving helmet. The air control valve was attached to the whip, which attached to the air fitting on the back of the helmet. The air control valve was then attached to what is called the bastard stud on the left front of the Mark V helmet. The diver could use the air control valve to easily regulate the air supply to the helmet. Key component which makes a great display piece along with a Mark V helmet.
