WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA DECORATED TANWARE FIGURAL SHOE, featuring daisy and button design with six holes to front for laces. Probably New Geneva, PA. 1880-1890. 2 5/8" H, 5 1/2 L.
Excellent undamaged condition. Manufacturing flaw including firing separations on lace holes and underside near heel, as made.
Provenance: The collection of the late Theodore "Ted" and Alvina Breckel, Oley, PA and Winnetka, IL.
