CONNECTICUT PAINT-DECORATED POPLAR TALL-CASE CLOCK, 30-hour wooden works and wooden dial retaining original painted surface, housed in a case featuring a cut-out crest to hood, tombstone-top waist door, and applied cut-out base. Retains original bold, grain-painted surface. Pendulum and weights present. Probably Riley Whiting, Winchester, CT. Circa 1820. 83" HOA.
Unknown working condition, not working when removed from house. Case with some spots of rubbing to paint on hood, otherwise excellent. Lacking finial.
