Cotton 30's dresden plate quilt, all hand pieced and hand quilted, with a subtly scalloped edge. It measures 84" X 86" and has remarkable, dense hand quilting, with quilting around the piecework and in dense diamond, feathered, and pinwheel designs quilted in the background, all at an even 10 stitches to the inch, with faint pencil marks still visible in places. The back and hand stitched binding are white and the batting is thin. High quality solid cotton materials are used in the background throughout.
