This vintage American made unwashed appliqued cotton Dresden Plate tied patchwork quilt or summer spread is a graphic and visual vintage beauty. The quilt is all hand sewn, with fabrics from the 1940's. The plates are hand sewn. The binding is hand stitched and the batting is thin. No quilting. Could be used in your summer cottage decor or rustic home decor. Can be used as wall hanging art.

CONDITION
This quilt is in good unwashed condition, There are a few small organic spots and old age oxidation storage spots or water stain spots, from decades of storage. with no odors, one small repair at edge, and no rips. Ties are made from white yarn. As shown in photos. I have not laundered this quilt. I am confident this will all disappear with its first long soaking in Oxyclean and laid on the grass in the sun to dry. Strong and sturdy no fading or fabric splitting and ready for any project.

Our antique textiles are collectible and are not new and not reproductions, and have lived a long and eventful life and sometimes developing flaws. We do not launder or dry clean unless stated in listing, and most times have been in storage for many decades picking up old age storage oxidation spots.
