This is a early 19th century Pennsylvania/New York classic red and white crib quilt in a bold version of the traditional Jacobs Ladder pattern, in an overall diamond geometric design of solid white and red cotton fabrics. Rolled to front binding and a solid white cotton backing, with very thin batting. All hand stitched and hand quilted.
A piece of Americana folk art.

This primitive crib quilt measures 39" x 35".

CONDITION
In good overall condition and is sturdy with old age soiling, yellowing, fading and a very small area of binding edge shattering, overall age wear for a old quilt.
I have not laundered this quilt, and is in as found condition. This small quilt would make a great visual wall hanging.
